Aaniie allows agencies to configure different start and end addresses for a client's shift. This feature is useful when caregivers begin and end services at different approved locations associated with the client.
Alternate addresses can be assigned during scheduling and can also be selected by caregivers during clock-in and clock-out workflows when enabled.
Before a scheduler can assign different start and end locations, alternate addresses must be added to the client's profile.
Open the client's profile.
Navigate to the Client Managers section.
Add one or more alternate addresses to the client's record.
Save your changes.
Once saved, these addresses become available for scheduling and punchcard selection.
After alternate addresses have been added to the client profile:
Create or edit a shift on the Scheduling Dashboard.
Select the desired Start Address.
Select the desired End Address.
Save the shift.
The selected addresses will be associated with that specific shift.
If you create a shift using Quick Shifts:
Create the shift as normal.
Click on the shift after it has been created.
Select Edit Address.
Choose the appropriate Start Address and End Address.
Save your changes.
When a shift has different start and end addresses assigned, those locations appear directly on the caregiver's Punchcard.
The caregiver will see:
Start Address
End Address
for that specific shift when viewing their schedule and punchcard.
Aaniie includes an optional setting that allows caregivers to select an alternate approved end address during an active shift.
Navigate to:
Menu → Settings → Site Settings
Locate the setting:
Allow Caregivers to Select Alternate End Address on Punchcard
Enable the setting.
Click Save Settings.
Once enabled, caregivers can change the end address during an active shift.
When the alternate end address setting is enabled:
The caregiver opens their Punchcard.
The caregiver selects Change End Address.
The caregiver chooses one of the approved alternate addresses stored in the client's profile.
The caregiver proceeds with clock-out.
This allows the shift to accurately reflect where services ended.
If a caregiver clocks in without a scheduled shift:
The caregiver opens the Punchcard.
The caregiver selects a Start Address.
The caregiver selects an End Address.
The caregiver completes the clock-in process.
The available address options come directly from the addresses configured in the client's profile.
Alternate addresses must be configured in the client's profile before they can be used.
Only approved addresses stored in the client profile can be selected.
If the client only has a primary address, no alternate address options will be available during scheduling or punchcard workflows.
Verify alternate addresses before scheduling shifts.
Use separate start and end addresses only when services legitimately begin and end at different locations.
Review Site Settings before enabling caregiver address selection.
Periodically audit client addresses to ensure they remain current and accurate.
Train caregivers on the Change End Address feature if your agency uses multiple service locations.
The Shift Start and End Address feature allows agencies to accurately document service locations by assigning different start and end addresses to a shift. Alternate addresses can be configured by schedulers and, when enabled, selected by caregivers directly from the Punchcard.
Add Alternate Addresses
Client Profile → Client Managers → Alternate Addresses
Enable Caregiver Address Selection
Menu → Settings → Site Settings
Modify Shift Addresses
Scheduling Dashboard → Shift → Edit Address
This functionality provides greater flexibility for agencies that support clients across multiple approved service locations.
