How to Create, Apply, Change, and Remove Shift Tags


Creating Shift Tags:

  • Access Scheduling Dashboard Menu>Scheduling>Scheduling Dashboard

  • Add the Shift Tag Section if not already showing to the side of the Dashboard

    • Do this by clicking the Utility Drawer option and select "Show Shift Tags"


  • Navigate to the Shift Tags section

  • Click the Pencil “Create Tag” option to create a Shift Tag

  • Choose a Tag Name and select the Visibility Option

  • Select Save

  • Shift Tag will now be an option under the Shift Tags Section


Applying Shift Tags to a shift: (Four Options)


Option 1 - Already Scheduled Shift

  • Create a shift or find a already existing shift in Scheduling Dashboard

  • Choose the Shift Tag you would like add in the Shift Tags Section on the side of the Scheduling Dashboard


  • Once Tag is select click the tag icon button and drag tag on to the scheduled shift


  • Tag will show on scheduled shift when applied correctly

Option 2 - When Creating a Quick Shift

  • Enable Shift Tag option Quick Shifts 

    • Menu>Settings>Site Settings Navigate to Quick Shifts and select and save “Show Shift Tags” setting. 


  • Shift Tags will now be an option to select when creating a new Quick Shift.


Option 3 - Selecting in Create Shifts

  • In the create shifts option in the Utility Drawer select the Shift Tag option under the Notes section to apply a already created Shift Tag. 


Option 4 - Applying same shift tag to current week view
  1.      When you are in the client or staff view of the scheduling dashboard you can click and drag a shift tag, procedure code, or billing code and drag the tag icon onto the client or staff's profile picture. You can then drop the tag on the profile picture and the tag will be added to all shifts in that current week for that client or staff member. 
      
      


Changing Shift Tags (Two options)


Option 1 - Editing Shift using Quick Shifts

  • Drag the shift in the quick shift area or click the shift and select edit shift.

  • Choose a different shift tag in the drop down and select save. 


Options 2 - Change In Bulk Actions (Change Shift Tag)

  • Open the utility drawer in the Scheduling Dashboard.

  • Select Action - Change Shift Tag

  • Fill out other areas needed to change the shift tag and select proceed. 


Removing ALL Shift Tags from a scheduled shift:

  • In the shift Tags options click the “x” 

  • This will change the shift tag option to “None”

  • Click the tag icon option to the left and drag “None Tag” on to the scheduled shift.

  • Now there will be no Shift tag assigned to that shift.
