When creating a Client Lead, you can upload and store files directly within the lead's profile. When the lead is converted into a client, all associated files are automatically transferred to the new client profile.
Navigate to Menu → Clients → Client Leads.
Locate the desired Client Lead in the table view.
Click the Communication Log icon located to the right of the lead's record.
Scroll down to the Files section.
Click the + (Plus) button.
Select Add Files.
Browse for and select the file you wish to upload.
Click Upload Files.
The file will now be attached to the Client Lead's profile.
After a file has been uploaded:
Within the Communication Log, locate the Client Files section.
Expand the section to view all uploaded files.
Select a file to view it.
From this area, authorized users can:
View files
Edit file information
Delete files
Note: Users with the Client Manager role and higher can access files attached to Client Leads.
When a Client Lead is converted into a Client:
All files attached to the lead are automatically transferred to the Client Profile.
No additional upload steps are required.
After conversion:
Open the Client Profile.
Navigate to the Client Files section.
Select a file from the File Access area to view it.
Within the Actions section, you can:
Adjust file visibility permissions
Edit file information
Delete files
When a Client Lead is converted into a Client:
File visibility is automatically set to Client Manager and higher roles.
Additional visibility permissions can be granted as needed.
To modify visibility:
Open the file from the Client Files section.
Locate the Actions area.
Select the roles that should have access to the file.
Save your changes.
Important: Review file visibility settings after conversion to ensure the appropriate staff members have access.
Client Lead Files provide a convenient way to store documents during the intake process. When a lead is converted into a client, all attached files automatically carry over to the Client Profile, helping ensure important documentation remains available throughout the client's lifecycle.
