Caregiver User Guide

Overview

The Aaniie Mobile App helps you manage your daily schedule, clock in and out of visits, communicate with your agency, and access important information—all from your mobile device.

The sections below explain each area of the app and how to use it.


Punchcard

The Punchcard is where caregivers complete everything related to a scheduled visit.

Within the Punchcard you can:

  • Clock in at the beginning of a visit
  • Complete scheduled care tasks
  • Record mileage
  • Add expense reimbursements (if applicable)
  • Capture required signatures
  • Add visit notes
  • Clock out at the end of the visit

Important: Always complete all required visit information before clocking out to ensure accurate documentation and payroll processing.


Schedule

The Schedule screen allows you to manage your upcoming work schedule.

From here you can:

  • View upcoming visits
  • Review client details
  • Add or update your availability
  • Submit Time Off requests
  • Submit Paid Time Off (PTO) requests
  • Submit Paid Sick Leave requests
  • View Paid Holiday information (if offered by your agency)

Keeping your availability current helps your agency schedule you appropriately.


Open Shifts

The Open Shifts section displays available visits that need coverage.

From here you can:

  • View available open shifts
  • Review shift details
  • Request to pick up additional shifts

Once approved, the shift will appear on your schedule.


Messages

The Messages area keeps you connected with your agency.

You can:

  • View new messages
  • Send messages
  • Reply to existing conversations

Use Messages for work-related communication and updates from your office.


Memories

The Memories section stores photos related to client care.

Within Memories you can:

  • Upload photos during visits (if permitted)
  • View previously uploaded photos
  • Review images associated with each client

Photos should only be uploaded when appropriate and in accordance with your agency's policies.


Directory

The Directory provides agency contact information.

If enabled by your agency, you can:

  • View staff directory information
  • Locate contact information for office staff

Note: This feature may not be available for every agency.


Docs

The Docs section provides important documents shared by your agency.

Here you can:

  • View documents uploaded to your employee profile
  • Access forms and company resources
  • Watch the Mobile App Training Video (if your agency has provided it)

Check this section regularly for updated documents and resources.


My Rewards

If your agency participates in the Rewards Program, the My Rewards section allows you to:

  • View your accumulated reward points
  • See available rewards
  • Redeem earned rewards
  • View awarded badges and achievements

Offline Mode

Offline Mode stores downloaded Punchcards when internet service is unavailable.

This feature allows you to continue documenting visits even with limited connectivity.

Once your device reconnects to the internet, your information can be synchronized.


Settings

The Settings area allows you to manage your account information.

Within Settings you can:

  • Update your agency portal address
  • Change your username
  • Change your password

Always keep your login information secure and do not share it with others.


Sign Out

Use Sign Out whenever you are finished using the app on a shared or public device.


Tips for Success

  • Complete your Punchcard before ending each visit.
  • Keep your availability updated to receive accurate scheduling.
  • Check Messages regularly for agency communications.
  • Review Docs for important forms and training materials.
  • Keep your username and password secure.
  • Contact your agency if you experience issues using the app or accessing features.
