Setting Up A Surveyor

Occasionally, a surveyor may visit an agency to ensure they are in compliance certain laws.  They may need access to client files.  Usually when a surveyor visits an agency for a visit, they ask to see 5-10 employee/client files so you would want to assign those clients to them so they can review. You are typically not allowed to interact with a surveyor during their visit so good practice is to have this set up for them before they arrive.

To set up a surveyor, go to Menu/Clients/Representative Management.  Click the icon with the silhouette and + to create a new client representative.  Check the "Surveyor" field on the right.  Fill out the rest of the fields to register the rep/surveyor.

The surveyor can then sign into Smartcare as a rep would and get the same dashboard view. Once a surveyor is created, it will show up under client representatives and you can edit them to attach different clients and give them the same permissions as a rep. However, they cannot be added as a payer and therefore, cannot view invoices.
