Running Reports

Running Reports

There are several types of reports that can be run and exported in SmartCare. To learn about how to run reports follow the instructions below.

  1. Navigate to the reports page through Menu>Accounting>Reports.
  2. Click on the bar under “Select Report” and select which kind of report you would like to run. These range from billing reports and invoices to customized reports displaying any kind of information you want.
  3. When you have selected the report you want to run at least one other text box will appear. This will open up another drop down menu asking you in what format you would like the report in, most likely a PDF or a CSV.
  4. There may be more boxes to fill out, most often being text boxes for the starting and end dates of the time period for which you would like the report run.
  5. Once all of the appropriate boxes have been filled out you may click the green “Get Report” button and the report will automatically download to your device.
  6. Once you have entered the search options and ran the report you can bookmark the page. Doing this allow you to go back to the same search options to running reporting faster the next time. Example: You are running the Scheduled Shifts report and you have just one client entered and wanting to know their shifts every week. You can save those search options then simply open that bookmark and change the dates for faster reporting. You will see the detailed URL of those search parameters allow for that faster accessibility.
NOTE: Remember that some reports may contain confidential or private information. Always consult with a legal counsel before letting anyone else view these documents.
