Requiring Manager Approval Before Shifts Notes Are Displayed To Clients And Client Representatives

You do have the ability to prevent shift notes from being displayed to clients and client representatives unless a manager has approved the notes first.

To do this, go to Menu/Settings/Site Settings and scroll to the Privacy section.  Check "Require Manager Approval on Caregiver Notes before Displaying Note to Clients or Client Representatives" and click "Save Settings" in the bottom right of that section.

Once this setting is enabled, you can approve notes by running a Shift Notes report.  To do this, go to Menu/Accounting/Reports and select the “Shift Notes” report from the dropdown box.  Select the time range for the notes you want to review and select “HTML” as the Format.  Once you run the report, you will see all of the notes for that date range and there will be a red thumbs down icon next to each note.  Click on this icon to approve the notes you want the client(s) and client representative(s) to see.  The note(s) will now be visible to the client and client representative.
