Deleting Global Tasks

Managing Global Tasks

Not all global tasks can be deleted.

To review your global tasks, navigate to:

Menu → Clients → Global Tasks

Inactivating a Global Task

Some global tasks do not have a trash can (Delete) icon on their row. These tasks cannot be permanently deleted, but they can be made inactive.

To inactivate a task:

  1. Click the Pencil (Edit) icon on the right side of the task.
  2. Locate the Inactive checkbox.
  3. Check the box and save your changes.

Once a global task is marked as inactive, it will no longer be active and will no longer appear on shifts.

Deleting a Global Task

Some global tasks do have a Trash Can (Delete) icon on the far right side of their row.

For these tasks:

  1. Click the Trash Can icon.
  2. Confirm the deletion.

The global task will be permanently removed from the system.

Summary

  • Tasks without a Trash Can icon can be inactivated but not deleted.
  • Tasks with a Trash Can icon can be permanently deleted.
  • Both methods will prevent the task from appearing on future shifts.
