How To Use The Client Portal


Instructions on how Clients and Representatives can access the Aaniie Care information that pertains to them.

Clients and Client Representatives have the ability to access Aaniie Care and see information and perform tasks related to the Client Account in Aaniie Care. 

When a Client or Representative is set up in Aaniie Care they automatically have a login account created. The password associated with the Client or Representative is set up and controlled by the agency.

In order to access the Client Portal, the Client or Representative must get three pieces of information from the agency:

1. Login name. 

This is usually just the first name and last name of the Client or Representative. All together with no spaces and all lower case letters. The agency can provide the specific login name. 

2. Password. 

This must be set by the agency and provided to the Client or Representative. It is case sensitive. 

3. The Portal website address. 

This will be in the form of https://portalname.smartcaresoftware.com. The agency will provide this information.


Accessing the Portal

Once the Client or Representative has the above information, the Client Portal can be accessed by any web based device, such as a desktop computer, laptop or cell phone (through the phone’s web browser). Go to the web address provided by the agency, and the following login screen will be presented. 

  1. Enter the Credentials provided by the agency. Click Log In. 

  1. Once logged in, the user will be left at their personal “My AaniieCare” page. What, exactly, is available here will depend on how the agency has set up the Client or Representative, and can be individualized for that Client or Representative.

  1. The icons directly under “My AaniieCare” allow access to, left to right: –Messages for the Client or Representative, and the # of unread messages. –The “My Schedule” page for the Client –The Shift Signatures for the Client –Update the Contact Information for the Client or Representative –Update the Profile Picture –Change the Password –Edit Personal Settings

  2. Beneath these options, there may be several other categories of information, again, depending on how the Client or Representative has been set up by the agency. Click on the section heading (such as Caregiver Forms or Billing) to see a list of information for that area.

  1. If there is any information in the section, it will be noted with a white number in a blue background. Click on the subsection heading to get more specific information. 

Click on “My AaniieCare” to return to the main screen.
